Members and roles
Invite your partner or team, choose owner, administrator, member or viewer for each person and change it later.
Share a workspace with your partner, an accountant or your team. Everyone sees the same bills, and each person's role decides what they can change.
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including transferring ownership. Each workspace has one owner. |
| Administrator | Full access to manage the workspace and its members, API keys and MCP connections. |
| Member | Add and edit expenses, categories and recipients. |
| Viewer | Read-only access, for example for an accountant. |
Invite people
- Open your organization's Members and select Invite.
- Enter an Email, choose a Role and the Workspaces they get. Use Add another to invite several people at once.
- Send. Invitations expire after 7 days; you can resend or cancel them from the list.
Someone already in your organization does not need a new invitation: use Assign to workspace to give them access to another workspace.
Change a role or remove someone
In Members, pick a new role from the person's row. When you remove someone from a workspace, choose what happens to the expenses they created:
- Transfer expenses to another member, or
- Delete all expenses created by them, with their attachments.
Categories and recipients stay in the workspace either way.
Transfer ownership
Choose Transfer ownership and pick the new owner. The new owner must already be an administrator, so assign that role first. After the transfer you are no longer the owner.
Plans and members
On Free, a workspace has only you. Pro has no member limit; the plan includes one seat and each extra member is +$1.99 a month. See Change or cancel your plan.
When an organization with extra members goes back to Free, members other than the owner become read-only for a grace period, and the banner shows the deadline. Settle billing before it, or members are removed automatically.
