Setup
Set up in three steps.
Install the extension, then give it its own Figa API key.
- 1 Install the extension Open the Figa extension in the Raycast Store and install it.
- 2 Create a key for Raycast In Figa workspace settings under API & MCP, create a key: the read preset to look things up, the write preset to add expenses and mark them paid. Figa shows it once.
- 3 Paste and check Paste the key into the extension’s API Key preference, then run Show Workspace Context to check the workspace, plan and permissions.

Asks before it marks paid
Mark Expense Paid reads the expense first, asks you to confirm, then reads the status back and refreshes the list.
No money moves
Marking a bill paid records the payment in Figa. The extension never sends money and has no bank connection.

How to check your bills from Raycast
Most bill questions take two seconds to answer, if the answer is close at hand. Raycast puts it one shortcut away.
Why a launcher
Opening an app to check whether the insurance is paid takes longer than the question deserves. In Raycast you type, look and move on: the unpaid list, this month’s total, the amount to copy into a bank transfer.
The six commands
- Show Workspace Context: The workspace, plan, limits, defaults and what your key may do.
- Search Expenses: This month’s expenses with all, unpaid and paid views, plus copy, paste and open in Figa.
- Show Monthly Summary: Recent monthly totals, paid and unpaid, in your workspace currency.
- Create Expense: A form with your workspace defaults and live categories and recipients.
- Search Categories: Categories with their expense counts.
- Search Recipients: Recipients with their expense counts.
Read key or write key
A key with the read preset covers searching, totals and reference lists. Choose the write preset when you also want to add expenses and mark them paid. The extension shows a clear message instead of failing when a command needs more than your key allows.
Marking a bill paid
Pick an expense in Search Expenses and choose Mark Expense Paid. The extension reads the latest state, asks you to confirm and then shows the new status. An estimated bill needs its actual amount confirmed in Figa first, so the payment matches the invoice.
On Figa Free
Figa Free includes one API or MCP connection per organization, so Raycast can be your one connection. Free shows the oldest 20 expenses of each month; Pro shows every retained expense.

Where do I get the Figa extension for Raycast?
In the Raycast Store. Install it, then paste a Figa API key into the extension’s preferences.
Which key does Raycast need?
A workspace API key. The read preset covers searching and totals; the write preset adds creating expenses and marking them paid.
Why can I not mark an estimate paid?
Confirm the actual bill amount in Figa first. The extension then lets you record the payment.
Can the extension pay a bill?
No. Marking a bill paid only records the payment. Figa never moves money.
